We found The Wave in our bookshelf the other day and decided to question Todd Strasser!RTR: If you could have lunch with anyone, alive or dead, who would you choose and why?
Todd: I generally go with the living ones. If they’re dead you can be pretty sure they’re not going to pick up the tab.
RTR: What’s your guilty pleasure?
Todd: Listening to books in the car.
RTR: What’s the one thing you could not live without?
Todd: Air.
RTR: If you couldn’t be a writer then what would you be?
Todd: Dead
RTR: What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
Todd: Write.
RTR: How did you hear about the experiment that you write about in The Wave?
Todd: My publisher told me about it.
RTR: If you were the teacher and went through the same experiment he did would you have done the same thing he did in the end or something different?
Todd: It’s a good end.
RTR: What is your favorite genre to write?
Todd: Mysteries are fun
RTR: How long does it usually take you to write a book?
Todd: Longer than I’d like
RTR: If your life was turned into a movie, who would play you?
Todd: George Clooney
