As you can probably tell we here at Realteenreviews like to spend a lot of time at the movies or watching movies at each others houses. When ever we choose to get together there is always one constant thing that we must have and that is Slushies and Gobstoppers. Somehow we came across this strange combination but ever since we have tried it, we have ALL become addicted. If you didn’t know slushies are a frozen drink made of something almost like melted snow and they are packed with mounds and mounds of sugar.
If you have a sweet tooth you will most likely enjoy a slushie. They come in many flavors, cherry, watermelon, banana, kiwi, strawberry, blue raspberry etc. Now in some venues they even sell Coke flavored slushies.
Gobstoppers are a candy created by Wonka. If you have seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory there is a scene where Wonka takes the kids to the invention room. In the invention room they see all of the top-secret experiments that are going on behind the curtain and learn about the most secret candy and that is the everlasting gobstopper. The gobstopper never loses flavor and you can suck on it forever. Well some very smart company took these crazy candies that they came up with in the movie and made them into real merchandise. The gobstopper is my favorite of all the Wonka candies. They come in assorted flavors and change colors and flavors in your mouth. They also perfectly compliment a delicious slushie.
Next time you go to the movies and you are waiting in line at the concession stand think about buying this amazing combo. If you go to your friend’s house bring some slushies and gobbstoppers over from everyone to share and you will instantly be the favorite of all your friends.
